Pratt Institute on The Office, Reminding me to paint.

Dec.01, 2012 Blog - 0 comments

The Office has featured Pratt Institute before via Pam Beesly being accepted to Pratt in the episode “Goodbye, Toby.” She studies for three months and leaves Pratt by the episode “Business Trip.” Most recently however Pratt Institute makes its way back on the show in the form of a gray sweater in season 9 episode 8 “The Target”. When i went to Pratt i took a full curriculum of painting classes thinking i would make it my minor next to Film & Video. I ended going with Art History as my minor due to some complications with that plan, thanks Pratt, you are the most disorganized school out there!

Watching the episode i remembered how long its been since i actually painted anything and thus became a bit nostalgic. I realize i created OSGFilms to feature my film work and rarely ever talk about fine art but i couldn’t help but least share this in the blog. A couple of paintings from back in the day when i had the time to be a fine artist AND make film, and music, and sculpture, and, and, and…. So these images are about two years old and that is a shame, but that’s ok i love making films! so ill live.

Well that’s about it for this little ramble. Thanks for listening. hopefully i can find some time to get a painting done soon! But since i just added learning Maya to the list pfft.. Which reminds me! Be sure to vote on my poll and catch my new Superman film in development as i learn 3D Modeling and animation. Its not quite fine art but at least i still get to paint and draw except its digitally.: Man of Steel Returns… Again!
